| The Greater Cincinnati Hurricanes was founded in 2004 by four football coaches and two cheerleading coaches. These six founding members saw a need for a family oriented organization to service the youth of Cincinnati. The founding six have worked hard to make sure the Hurricanes stay a premier youth organization. Our staff has grown to twenty-three volunteer coaches and team moms. All of our coaches and team moms have undergone police and background checks and are NYSCA certified. Our coaches volunteer their time and talent after working full time for some of the city's most competitive companies such as: City of Cincinnati Firefighters, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati Public Schools, Widmer's Dry Cleaners, Cintas, Heidelburg Distributors, and many others.
